University application support

Applying to university looks very different depending on the country. This page gives an overview of the main systems so you know what to expect before you start.

Support

How we help

Application support covers Common App, UCAS and EU portals. We help you choose the right route, plan the timeline and build a firm profile of academics and activities.

Not sure which system fits? Read Common App or UCAS: what is the difference.

North America

USA and Canada

  • USA: Common Application, Coalition Application and individual university portals, such as the UC Application for the University of California
  • Canada: OUAC (Ontario Universities' Application Centre) and individual provincial or university portals

UK and Ireland

United Kingdom and Ireland

  • UK: UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service)
  • Ireland: CAO (Central Applications Office)

Europe

Asia-Pacific

Australia and beyond

In Australia, applications are state-based through UAC (NSW), VTAC (Victoria) and QTAC (Queensland). You can also apply directly to universities.

Common App and UCAS style systems have limited use elsewhere. International applications often go directly to universities.
